Rudolf Melik, Chief Executive Officer

Rudolf Melik is one of the four original founders of Tenrox. As CEO, he has grown the company from a start-up to a world class cloud-based project management software solution provider. He is the driving force behind the company's award-winning products and marketing strategy. His extensive resume includes ten years of experience in software engineering and management, working as senior software engineer at companies such as Matrox, Discreet Logic, and Bell International.

As the principal author of the first book written on Professional Services Automation (www.psabook.com) and his second book, The Rise of the Project Workforce, Managing People and Projects in a Flat World (www.projectworkforcebook.com), Rudolf demonstrates his extensive knowledge of software products for project management, workforce management, accounting, payroll, business process automation, CRM and ERP. He is also a frequent contributor to the talent on target blog which discusses project workforce management challenges. Rudolf is the recipient of several prestigious awards such as the 2001 Technology Entrepreneur of the Year award. He holds a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, with a minor in Management from McGill University.


Ara Israilian, Chief Operating Officer

Ara Israilian is one of the four original founders of Tenrox and he is the Chief Operating Officer. His main responsibilities include legal and financial control, contract negotiations, and human resources management.

Ara has over fifteen years of experience in software engineering and business management. Prior to Tenrox, he worked as a software engineer at Nortel, Bell Northern Research, and BCE. Ara holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from McGill University.


Rafat Hilal, Eng, Vice President - Engineering

Rafat Hilal, one of the original co-founders of Tenrox, was appointed as the VP of Worldwide Services in 2002 and serves as the VP of Engineering. He plays an active role in developing new product strategies and assisting in customer implementation projects. Prior to joining Tenrox, Rafat held positions within the product development and professional services departments of large telecommunications and IT consulting organizations.

With more than 15 years of project management and software development experience, Rafat has extensive knowledge of the enterprise software industry, applications, trends and challenges. Working very closely with Tenrox customers, he truly understands the challenges and processes required to successfully implement and manage world class enterprise solutions. Rafat holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Management from McGill University.


Ludwig Melik, Vice President - Sales

Ludwig is the VP Sales of Tenrox.Ludwig has extensive 11 year knowledge of software products and services for supporting compliance initiatives involving regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley, SOP 98, DCAA, FMLA and FLSA. He speaks regularly on the subject at various seminars and associations including the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Annual Symposium.

Since joining the company in 1997 and one of 5 partners at Tenrox, he has worked closely with over 800 Tenrox customers worldwide including Arrow International, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Caterpillar, Corning, First National Bank, Fisher Scientific, Hydro Quebec, Invensys, Major Drilling, Merck, Pioneer Natural Resources, State of Wyoming, University of Michigan, Visa and Wyeth.

Ludwig's leadership has been the driving force behind Tenrox's success including an 11 year history of consistent growth and profitability, as well as receiving several prestigious industry awards and accreditations. He has served on the administration board of software associations and received awards for his accomplishments and contributions to the community.


Mounir Hilal, MBA, BEng, PMP Vice President – Global Services

Mounir joined Tenrox in 2000 as a software engineer. Since then he ascended the ranks to earn the strategic responsibility of managing the Tenrox consulting team before undertaking a leadership role in growing, and globally managing the Tenrox Professional Services organization. The service team’s mission is to deliver implementation and management services while helping medium, large and global organizations establish operational best practices and deploy the Tenrox software solution. Mounir has been directly involved in a majority of key Tenrox implementations in the last several years.

With more than twelve years of experience, Mounir has acquired extensive knowledge in enterprise software design, development and deployment processes with expertise in Professional Services, Business Consulting and Project Management. In addition, he has a high degree of expertise in operational control, compliance and business process optimization. Mounir is a certified Project Manager, holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from McGill University and an MBA from Queen’s University.
