Position: Implementation Consultant - 3 positions available in Montreal, Toronto/GTA, and LA
Description:
As a Tenrox Implementation Consultant you will be focused on the delivery and implementation of Tenrox’s Project Workforce Management solution and will have developed functional skills in business back office processes that will be used in performing these tasks. You may also play a project management role for smaller clients and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure the Tenrox application
- Tenrox utilizes both onsite and online delivery models
- Perform business requirements analysis and design
- Perform gap analysis between Tenrox functionality and client's requirements
- Identify and recommend product enhancements, enhancements or work-arounds to meet client requirements
- Train users on new business processes and using Great Plains
- Develop data conversion and testing strategies
- Travel up to 50-60% is required.
Onsite Implementation and Business Process Modeling
- Software installation and configuration in customer environment
- Software configuration based on customer business requirements
- General training on software set up and functionality
- General mentoring and support of customer project staff and managers
- Custom training design and delivery • Assisting with troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues
- Limited technical support as skills/abilities allow
- Additional customer assistance or internal work as directed by the implementation manager, such as functional specification development, documentation and procedure preparation, etc.
Possibility to move into Project Management:
- Generally manage three to five active projects at any given time
- Project planning, oversight and advisement to the customer’s project team
- Customer relationship management, including collaboration with sales and product support to manage customer accounts, incident resolution, etc.
- Business needs analysis and documentation to determine optimum configuration of the software to meet customer objectives
- Process analysis and design support for work, resource, budget, and contract management
- Executive-level collaboration and mentoring on product application, including project office, portfolio management, advanced project planning, resource workload management techniques, etc.
Requirements:
- 4 year degree in Business, Accounting, MIS or equivalent; Accounting designation a major plus
- Experience with Great Plains, AccPac or equivalent financial package.
- 3+ years experience implementing financial packages
- Consulting organization experience, preferred
- Experience with core business processes such as Accounting, Billing, Payroll, CRM
- Experience with integration tools and 3rd party integration applications (AccPac, GP Dynamics, Peoplesoft, MS CRM, Salesforce.com) a plus
- Experience with reporting tools a plus: MS Reporting Services, Crystal, FRx, Report Writer
