Position: Quality Assurance Specialist Description:
- Test and report issues and verify fixes for custom solutions.
- Test and verify accuracy of product documentation, help files and guides
- Create test cases
- Study specifications for new projects, develop and document testing scenarios
- Testing is done according to specifications. Provide feedback on usability, functionality and benefits of the features being developed
- Continuously search and improve upon QA processes
- System Testing; verify that new features integrate with existing functionality
- Reproduce bugs reported by customers
- Certify client packages for delivery
- Test upgrades
- Assist load testing specialist in identifying possible problem areas
- Work with QA Manager to provide timelines and testing schedules for every project
- Contribution to automated test strategy
Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum of two years of related experience in the software industry
- Superb problem-solving and time management skills
- Team oriented and dynamic
- Experience in writing and performing requirements based test cases
- Ability to thrive in tight deadlines and high pressure environment
- Comfortable working with various Windows operating systems
- Experience administering Database servers and Web Servers an asset
- Experience with Automation testing tools an asset
