Tenrox has created a scalable time, billing and project management system called Tenrox PSA. Tenrox PSA boasts clients along the lines of AT&T, HP, IBM, Pfizer and other large corporations.

It can exchange information with various payroll (ADP Payroll, Ceridian), accounting (ACCPAC, QuickBooks), desktop (Outlook, Lotus Notes) and office (Word, Excel) programs.

Tenrox PSA runs in a Windows 95/98/2000/NT environment and also makes use of the Internet. Tenrox PSA integrates with various handheld devices for different features. The program is divided into several modules, which can be used individually or as a full system.

The Timesheet Management module allows you to enter time from anywhere using a web browser, e-mail or desktop application. The company’s software services web site (www.tenrox.net) allows practitioners to login to a database to enter time. Entering time with e-mail can be done using Lotus and Outlook. Timesheets can be entered and viewed using one of four available views, and they can be reviewed and rejected based on customizable preset policies. Over 140 reports give you a powerful way to look at time by user, activity or project over any time period.

There is also a web-based expense management system. Users can enter expenses, mark-up, payment method and billable, as well as the type of expense and currency. Expenses can be entered offline via the web browser or directly into the program. Expense review and reporting is very similar to timesheets. The invoice wizard allows you to select what to bill and the adjustments to make. Invoice templates and reports allow you to customize existing ones or create new ones. The system keeps track of invoices issued and payment history.

The Cost and Revenue accounting component gives you a place to track costs and revenue by client, project, activity, group and other categories. Time and expense entries can be marked up and down, and rates can be changed independently. Over 40 reports on cost, revenue and profit are pre-designed, and more can be added.

The Resource Management module is a skill-matching system based on availability and expertise that provides managers with a new way to find the needed expertise for a project.

The Customizable workflow engine allows an organization to set up a workflow management system to track any process with transitions, roles and authorities, defined and customized in the context of configurable workflows. Query functions allow you to track issues progress, appraise performance and look for similar problems and the solutions that someone else has already found.

Other modules include a Punch and Time Clock module for use with swipe cards or punch systems. Executive Insight gives you a powerful reporting tool using:
