Today, Tenrox announced that Fireman's Fund has selected to implement Tenrox's Enterprise Optimization family of products under an ASP model. The agreement is part of a 3-year relationship where Tenrox will streamline and automate Fireman's Fund time management requirements through its state of the art hosting facility, providing Fireman's fund with a number of valuable business benefits allowing it to maintain growth and streamline its operations.
"We have been delighted with Tenrox as a cost effective provider and with the capabilities to meet our business needs," said Sunita Bhatt, project manager at Fireman's Fund. "We've also been very pleased with their customer service in setting up the application for us, their sharp and prompt technical team and the long weekend hours they spent meeting our tight schedule, completing deliverables on time and within budget. As far as we are concerned, Tenrox has a good product and the kind of easy-to-use interface that has already significantly saved us time and cost in training our IT Enterprise team to use the application. Tenrox is the most cost effective solution provider out there to best meet our business needs."
Tenrox's hosted solution has been designed to provide the latest technology required to streamline operations without the risks, costs and administrative responsibilities associated with developing and maintaining an in-house IT infrastructure. Furthermore, it allows organizations to focus resources on their core business, rather than IT concerns such as providing comprehensive security, backup, disaster recovery, and support services.
"In today's economic environment, everyone is trying to minimize cost and increase efficiency, Tenrox's hosted solution has significant measurable savings and efficiencies without any investment in new IT infrastructure”, said Rudolf Melik, President and CEO, Tenrox.
The Fireman's Fund rollout of Tenrox's hosted solutions further validates the trend towards organizations outsourcing some of their IT requirements, through subscription-based solutions. According to a recent study conducted by the Gartner Group, up to 70% of enterprises will outsource their software needs making this the dominant software delivery model of the future.
Founded in 1863, Fireman's Fund is rated "A" by the independent A.M. Best Company and last year had gross premiums written exceeding $4.7 billion. As one of the top 20 property and casualty insurance groups in the US, Fireman's Fund offers a full range of commercial coverage to small--to-medium size businesses as well as personal insurance for homeowners and automobiles. Fireman's Fund is also noted as a leader in the areas of Entertainment policies for Hollywood films, agribusiness and ocean marine coverage.
