Press Releases Customer Response to Tenrox On-Demand, Hosted Services Results in 100% Annual Growth
To Accommodate This Success, the Company More Than Doubles Its Capacity With New Data Center and Provides Customers With Crucial Hot Site Redundancy
Pasadena, California - November 7, 2007
Tenrox, the leading provider of workflow-driven Project Workforce Management solutions, announces a 100% annual growth rate in its on-demand services channel. This success has substantially surpassed company projections and has prompted the addition of a new Los Angeles-based hosting and data center in partnership with PEER 1, to increase on-demand capacity by more than 100%. All of the company's on-demand customers were previously hosted by its original data center in Montreal.
Having both east coast and west coast data centers means greater performance and improved security, according to Michael McRae, Tenrox Vice-President of Professional Services. “Quite simply, the closer you are to the server, the faster you access your data. So the new center means increased value to many of our clients,” he said.
The LA center also provides hot site redundancy, creating a fail-safe back-up for customer data. “We have a fiduciary responsibility to protect customers' information and restore service as quickly as possible if the system goes down. With our new hot site and partnership with PEER 1, we can reduce the risk of lost or corrupted data and have customers up and running within hours—and do it for a fraction of what it would cost them to have the same level of protection internally,” he explained.
“We are pleased to work with Tenrox and understand that having their online solution on a reliable and fast network is essential to their business,” said PEER 1 president and CEO, Fabio Banducci. “With PEER 1's scalable network, excellent infrastructure support and highly secure data center, Tenrox is guaranteed the quality and business continuity required to best serve its customers.”
These are all part of Tenrox's ongoing commitment to constantly improve customer service and satisfaction. As demand for outsourced hosting and IT services grows at exponential rates, the company plans to continue aggressively searching for new and innovative ways to leverage its existing expertise and infrastructure for the benefit of its customers.
Tenrox Project Workforce Management streamlines project management, optimizes resource utilization and precisely accounts for cost and revenue across projects and workforce. By leveraging a company's existing software investments and adapting to in-place structures and processes, Tenrox systems automates time and expense tracking, cost and revenue accounting, workforce planning, as well as other project and workforce related processes.
Tenrox On-Demand services, has received an unqualified SAS 70 Type II Service Auditor's Report for its on-demand offering. Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), SAS (Statement on Auditing Standards) 70 is an internationally recognized auditing standard that validates that a software hosting and service organization has demonstrated adequate controls and safeguards when hosting or processing data belonging to its customers.
