Tenrox Releases 10.1 Version of its On-Demand Project Management Software
Latest version offers significant improvements to simplify flat-world project management, capacity planning and operational effectiveness.

Tenrox today unveiled the latest version of its on-demand Project Workforce Management solution, Release 10.1. The new release offers several key enhancements and new features primarily in its Timesheet, Project Planning and Analytics modules allowing project teams to function more effectively in today's flat-world, virtualized and dispersed project environment.
New Features in Release 10.1:
Simplified Tenrox Timesheet Entry
Tenrox Timesheet has been enhanced to include new and improved features such as time entry by day or percentage in addition to offering hourly entry. Additional enhancements include: a simpler project assignment tool, limited number of hours and non-working time entries, Multiple notes per time entry, and the ability to enforce notes for all time entries or changes.
New Expense Report Template and Single Project Expense Reporting
Expense report entries can now be copied from one report to another and single project expense reporting enforces the creation of entries against a single project per expense report.
Leave Time Calendar
Group managers and project managers can view requested and approved leave requests of their subordinates and project team members in a calendar view. The Leave Request feature now offers a fresh user interface while also offering users more options to efficiently make their leave requests.
Ad-Hoc Reporting and Data Security
The ad-hoc reporting tool now offers more views and functionality making it even easier and faster to create custom data views and extracts. Users can select from more data items and apply any desired filters to obtain an instant report that is ready for review or export.

Project Planning Enhancements
Tenrox Project Planning makes planning a simple and efficient task. Several updates are offered within this module including a Mass Update tool that allows mass updating multiple tasks and/or resources simultaneously and a Search tool that allows filtering of work types and/or resources.
Collaborative Workforce Planning (CWP)
With task-based Resource Planning you can book resources on a project at the task level. Tenrox Collaborative Workforce Planning completely integrates Project Planning with the Workforce Planning module, allowing managers to view and book available resources for a particular project to create a project team. Work plan notifications notify resources when they have been added to or removed from a project work plan.
In release 10.1, the new Project Collaborative Workforce Planning Date Shift feature allows users to automatically shift the project schedule when project dates are updated.
OBS & WBS Setup
The new User Group History feature provides users with the ability to change the user's functional group at any time in the past while the Milestone History feature helps users track all changes made against project milestones.
Financial Module Changes
- The Invoice Notes and Documents is a convenient way to quickly enter notes and documents for each invoice.
- Cost and Billing Rule Association feature allows for the mass association of cost and billing rules to multiple users.
- New Email Invoice Report feature is used to email PDF versions of invoices to customers.
- QuickBooks Online Integration allows QuickBooks users to extend their project accounting functionality by integrating with the online version of QuickBooks.
Availability and Pricing
Tenrox Project Workforce Management Release 10.1 is now shipping and available directly from Tenrox or through the company's channel partners. The product is modular with pricing starting at $120 per user per module per year. Volume and multi-year agreement discounts are applicable.
