Tenrox Announces a New Software Release Naming Convention for its Project Management Solutions

Glendale, California - August 12, 2009

Tenrox, the leading provider of web based project management software solutions, today announced its new software release naming convention for all future releases.

Every Tenrox software release name will include a season-related prefix and the year in which the release becomes available. All subsequent releases will follow this new naming convention which provides a simple, straightforward way to identify releases within a quarterly schedule while also facilitating upgrade planning.

New Software Release Naming Convention:

Tenrox Summer Heat [year of release]
Tenrox Autumn Wind [year of release]
Tenrox Winter Ice [year of release]
Tenrox Spring Bloom [year of release]

This convention replaces Tenrox’s prior naming convention which included a version number in the release name (e.g. “Tenrox 10.1”). Tenrox 10.1 was the last software release that included a version number in its name. The new naming convention takes effect as of Tenrox’s upcoming August release, Tenrox Summer Heat 2009.
