Tenrox Helps Global IT Services Firm Taxaccord, Keep Pace with Business Around the World

London-based Taxaccord has chosen the Tenrox Project Workforce Management solution to scale up its project tracking, budgeting, and invoicing operations to keep pace with business volume that doubled in 2009. Taxaccord provides consultancy services to multinational companies to ensure that correct taxes are paid on time and to the appropriate jurisdictional authorities.

“Improving our infrastructure, particularly with regard to time and expense reporting, is a top priority for us—and the Tenrox system is the key element in helping us meet that goal,” says Helen Allester, office manager.

Until now, each of Taxaccord’s main offices in the United Kingdom, the United States, and The Netherlands, has handled project timekeeping and expense reporting independently. As a result
of these separate databases, gathering project information has become extremely inefficient. Furthermore, manually processing currency differences, a consistent component of all the company’s projects, has made tracking expenses and project profitability extremely complex
and time-consuming.

“Right now comparing actual project expenses against projections requires several hours to complete. Once Tenrox is implemented, that should be accomplished by just pressing a button,” Allester says.

Tenrox’s On-Demand platform was chosen for its accessibility, ability to provide consistency and uniformity throughout Taxaccord’s international offices through the use of defined business rules, as well as its ability to ingrate with Salesforce.com and QuickBooks Online. The company tried using a competitive system, but found that it could not provide an adequate level of reporting, particularly when compared to Tenrox’s ability to handle multi-currency processing.

In light of Taxaccord’s recent growth, Allester says, “We expect that Tenrox will enable us to continue to scale up our operations for quite some time.”
