The Gantt chart displays the project work breakdown structure including task dependencies, scheduling constraints, duration of each task and its percent complete. The Gantt chart helps the project team visualize and understand the project’s major activities, milestones, and current status.

Earned value provides an accurate indication of cost and schedule variance while a project is in progress. These indicators are used to measure how much value has truly been created and to forecast the actual budget needed to complete the project within the defined parameters.
