“In October 2008, Emergis went live with the new TENROX timesheet application. Our first month-end with the new application went quite well due in part to the hard work that was invested during the testing and quality control phases. The Tenrox team helped us a lot and contributed to the success of this project. Our Tenrox project coordinator was quick to respond to our needs and solved our problems/issues on a timely basis. Overall, we are quite pleased with the application.

Here are some FAQ’s about Tenrox On-Demand services:
1) Does Tenrox simulate disaster recovery situations?
As part of our SAS-70 certification, Tenrox has put together very detailed procedures to insure the minimum possible down time for our customers in the event of a major failure or natural disaster at either of our data centers. In order to provide assurance that these procedures are working flawlessly, recovery simulations are performed and tested on a quarterly basis. The results of these tests are verified by our on-demand team and compared against benchmarks that have been established as part of our certification.
2) If the software is hosted, how do we test new configurations, upgrades and customizations without affecting our hosted production environment?
For business critical implementations (where Tenrox is integrated with your payroll, billing or financial reporting processes) we highly recommend maintaining two to three replicated environments:
- Production System: This is the "Live" system accessed by all users which holds your real business data.
- Sandbox: This environment is a replica of the Production System and is routinely updated to match your production data, reports and integrations. The sandbox is used by your team to create reports, test upgrades, customizations and integrations.
- Development Environment: For customers who intend to create their own reports, integrations or product enhancements, a Development environment is highly recommended . This environment may be also used to validate and analyze the impact of customizations by your technical staff.

Case Study: Carestream Health Inc.
Carestream Health Looks to Tenrox to Streamline Project Tracking and Coordination
Rochester, NY based Carestream Health Inc. has built a worldwide client base for its film media products, medical imaging and healthcare information solutions. As that list of customers grows, so has the scale and complexity of projects.
The company coordinates hundreds of projects across 45 countries ranging from the U.S. to Russia and Australia. Client projects can address simple objectives, like installing an imaging web server for a local Xray practice. Or, they can be more complex, like developing solutions capable of handling billing, invoicing and integrated imaging for multi-site hospital systems.
