What’s New in Tenrox On-Demand Services |

In the past few months Tenrox has experienced a giant boost in our
On-Demand business. Many clients are now looking at a quick deploy
and worry-free alternative to maintaining Tenrox on premise by using our SAS Type II certified On-Demand services.
With the increased number of On-Demand clients, we have augmented the capacity at our current hosting facility and have contracted a second location in Los Angeles, California. This second hosting facility allows us to substantiate our fault tolerance and disaster recovery measures. Each of these world class facilities serves as a hot site backup, in case of a major disaster at one site, allowing us to route affected customers from that site to the other within 48 hours with almost zero data loss. Having this second site also increases performance due to reduced internet latency. We can now host our customers out of the data center from which they experience the least amount of latency, providing significant impact on overall application performance. I am happy to announce that we have also added a service that allows us to measure application performance from different geographical locations around the world. This information will allow us to continually monitor and fine-tune the Tenrox On-Demand application for optimal performance.

1) How can I verify which Version of Analysis Services is installed?
- From the Start menu, select Program Files>SQL Server 2000>Analysis Services>Analysis Manager
- This will open the Analysis Manager.
- In the left pane, expand Analysis Manager. Right-click Analysis Servers, and then click About Analysis Services.
2) How can I un-suspend a user with an expired password or too many
login attempts?
- Log on to the Tenrox application as an administrative user.
- Select Setup>Organization>Users from the Main menu.
- Click the Filter link from the top of the User List screen.
- This will open the Filters screen. Select the Suspended check box.
- Click Save, and then Close. The User List screen will display a list of all suspended users.
- Click the user you wish to un-suspend. The User Setup screen
will open.
- Under the General tab, uncheck the Suspended check box.
- Click Save, and then Close. The user will then be able to successfully log on to the Tenrox application.
3) How can I preview an expense report in a batch?
- In the Tenrox application, select Setup>Expense>System from
the Main menu.
- Click the Payable Batches button.
- On the Payable Batches Not Posted screen, click History. This screen will list all payable batches that were previously posted.
- On the Payable Batch Posted screen, select a batch to open the Payable Batch screen.
- Click Post, and finally at the Post Payable Batch screen, click Preview. All expense reports included in the payable batch will be listed on the Preview screen.
Note: Payable Batches are also accessible from Portals>Resource Central. |
